A Fitting Tribute

We arrived at my uncle's local for the wake to find his usual table set up like this and a framed photo of him on the wall (in other circumstances I would be quite chuffed one of my photos is hanging on a wall for people to see I just didn't expect it to be like this!!!).

The plaque under the photo reads:

In Loving Memory of a Legend Scotch George Daye [Cowboy George] - he was loved by all & will be dearly missed.

And the family's way of honouring the legend was to sit in the pub - some with a bottle of brown ale - most wearing a cowboy hat!
