Close encounter of the Leo kind.

A very busy but happy day. The morning got off to a good start with a surprise visit by Charlie17 and his wife, which we very much enjoyed. Then we were off to Aberdeen for a family meal. We are now returned, replete to the point of bursting with the finest of curries.

Whilst the meal was being prepared we took the youngest Talpid off on Safari. For a while things got quite tense out in the bush, but luckily it turns out that Aberdeen lions are fond of ice cream, especially the strawberry variety, and we escaped by the skin of our teeth.
