Sunday Blues

Excuse the French, but baise-moi this place is absolutely gorgeous. I've no idea how there aren't cars lying in ditches at the side of every bend on the B-class roads that criss-cross the island, there's just so many neck breaking views at every turn.

Fifteen miles of road and only three vehicles passed (all at once too) and we ended up at the northern end of Loch Harport looking out towards the Outer Hebrides and the Atlantic beyond. We sat watching herons and Ospreys fly past then, as the blue sky merged with the blue sea so much it had couldn't hold any more blue, watched a rainbow arc over the boats in the bay and onto the whitewashed buildings spotted around the hillsides. There was a sign on the bench here that said; "One minute, don't read, don't talk, no photos, just look... and see"

Five out of six ain't bad.
