Mid-year, I started a placement with Epoch Times newspaper ― New York as a reporter/photographer under-training. I spent the ten weeks that followed covering everything from fires to non-violence rallies, from Queens to Staten Island. My last day was spent working on a photo-profile of Bronx Zoo ― the largest zoo in North America.
