The footbridge.....

..... from Stirling to Cambusbarron crosses the M9 just south of the junction for the A84. We lived nearby in Douglas terrace years ago and crossed it often.

This photo is taken looking north(ish). From this point you can head north on the A9 up the east of the country to Inverness and Thurso where the A9 ends at Scrabster - the ferry port for Orkney. Or turn left and take the A84 west through Callander and on to the west coast and the ferries for the inner and outer Hebrides.

Or you can walk over the footbridge and home.
