Gnarly Old Conifer

I used to wait under this tree to meet my daughter on her way home from primary school each day.... she is 17 now!

There is a hive of native bees in the base of the tree.

Its next door tree is an Asian Tamarind which made it a particularly delicious place to wait in late winter/early spring :)
