Elizabeth College...

... was founded in 1563 by Queen Elizabeth I. It is now described as a selective day school but when I was at Ladies College it was a Public School and had boarders as well as day boys. It is boys from this school who I ring with on Tuesday afternoons and I get a district feeling of deja vu hanging around the school gates at 4 o'clock waiting for a lift to the church. Though I have to say when I was hanging around the gates 50 years ago I was not heading for church!.
