Requiem. GX1, Leitz Summitar 50mm.

After having a much-needed haircut this morning, I strolled across the street to the Common Street Cemetery attracted by the fall foliage. Usually, by mid-October the trees have all turned their beautiful colors and the increasing icy winds have blown the leaves to the ground. This year, as if we need more evidence of global warming, the icy winds from the north have not begun in earnest. In fact, today is a balmy 78F with winds and clouds scudding from the south east. This will be my mandatory fall foliage contribution. Apart from the traffic noise, there are worse places one could find to spend eternity. If one needed a haircut, there's an excellent one to be had just across the street, courtesy of Galina, and also some pretty decent pizza...
