But I couldn't help laughing quietly to myself when I saw those three girls walking across the town square. All dressed in the same type of parkas with a fur trim, leggings and Timberland shoes. Very popular fashion here in Akureyri this autumn.

I recall similar images and moments when I and my friend Linda Björk were young and lived in Vestmannaeyjar. Good times! :)
