Final and full

Today will have had 26 hours. We've gained 2.

Finally got to see the old city of Jerusalem and focused on Jesus' life and death and resurrection.
And this is the last collage for a long time I suspect.

1. The archeological dig around the Pool of Bethesda. It's huge.
2. The sign on the back of the door of the Garden Tomb.
3. Not the plane we came home in. This plane is very gold and neither was it in the old city of Jerusalem.
4. One of the 2 'possible' sites of the crucifixion, inside the built up Holy Sepulchre. It is very ornate because it's in the bit owned by the Greek Orthodox.
5. A typical street in the old city.

Our guide was very good. He explained why there was confusion about where things actually happened - a history lesson. He explained that many of the 'holy' places were, as he put it, "not evangelical" (and he meant 'not of the Bible').
He knew his New Testament very well from a scholarly point of view.
We got to ask lots of questions and I like that.
