The Windmill

A trip up the coast today to Anstruther where we had our picnic lunch down beside the harbour and Crail where we visited the pottery and enjoyed a warming mug of hot chocolate.

On our return we called in to the Ardross farm shop for some supplies and Pathhead Nurseries for some boulder stones. When L was paying for her stones I took this photo of the St Monans windmill. It was built in the eighteenth century and is the last remaining windmill in Fife. It has now become the local coastguard station.
