Day 49: A River Runs Through It

You know you're in a huge shopping mall when there is a river that runs through it! Here it is, right between the Juicy Couture and Banana Republic. You can even take a gondola boat ride through the mall, although I did not partake.

While the F1 was in Singapore, the city was suffocated by traffic from event road closures. Or maybe that was the smoke from rice field fires in nearby Indonesia. During our extended layover, we were able to meet up with friends and enjoy happy hour drinks alongside the world's highest infinity pool atop of the Marina Bay Sands hotel. My friend also treated us to a local specialty, chili crabs, for dinner. I'll have to come back and spend more time here.

For now, we return to the airport for the continuation of our flight back to Australia.
