Hiding in the bushes

Not easy to see in the wild, this red-crowned parakeet is making itself scarce in the aviary at Orana Park. Often they will perch in a convenient place for photographers, but I rather liked the way this one was mimicking the brief glimpses that are often all we get when searching for uncommon birds in the forest.
