Caboc

Inspired by Lady Findhorn's Cheese Shop this week, I bought my very favourite cheese. It is made from double cream cheese and hand rolled in Scottish pinhead oatmeal.

Caboc. On the box it says Scotland's oldest cheese, first crafted on the Isle of Skye in the 15th century by the daughter of the chieftain of the Clan MacDonald, the Lord of the Isles. Today, still made from a secret recipe, it is enjoyed by chieftains, clansmen and clanswomen worldwide.

Just to look at it makes my mouth water - try large.
