Not Even a Patch of Blue

12.7C and mostly dull with some rain in the morning and again later through the evening. Moderate breeze.

Yesterday's sunrise made the spotlight - thank you :-)

Maeve the Deerhound and I went for our walk after lunch. I was pleasantly surprised that it wasn't raining. I have no doubt that Maeve was too.

We walked down to the shore road and went across the road bridge over the railway at Westhaven. We had a look out to sea. The tide was coming in and there were waves rolling in over the rocks. Silver Cat is still on the beach, on its trailer which is on sheets of corrugated iron on the sand.

We continued our walk in a loop to get home. About 2 miles altogether. As we approached home I stopped and took a quick shot across the field. Just the three trees today. No colours in the sky, not even a patch of blue.
