Coconut Whiskey?!?

...Not nearly as shocking as waiting 2 hours for our meals to be served. But at least the time was well spent in the company of fun expat friends - a couple old & several new...

There's apparently been an influx of mostly American expats to the area. Tonight we enjoyed an evening at a new authentic Indian restaurant in Essen Werden. The food, once it finally arrived, was excellent. Once the husband-wife team work out the kinks, it should be a great restaurant.

The coconut whiskey was gifted to our table of 10 as an apology for the painfully slow service. (A well-intended but poorly-received offer.)
