lost in luang prabang....

not us, just all our stuff. over the space of 24 hours we managed to lose our guidebook, some sunnies and (almost) all our photos (a long and fairly dull story)....

luang prabang itself didn't really deliver. lot's of cool temples and nice places to eat but a little too middle aged & falang friendly to feel like a completely different part of the world. within 5 minutes of arriving we'd been treated to the spectacle of an over sized golf buggy shunting lots of westerners (possibly french) on a "tour" of the town...nuff said

red wine for dinner though.....
