Our friendly guides for the day

Our first day in freezing cold Nong Khiaw - after the initial shock to the system and a squished boat trip up the Mekong river we arrived at this small village catering to tourists. We decided to do a bit of exploring and on our journey we came upon these two, kinda short, guides. Unfortunately our tour was solely in Laos but we enjoyed it nonetheless, and clearly the talk tired out our guides no end (this photo was taken after George had swung the kiddies around his head a few 10-20 times!)
