Marilyn on the Terrace

Friday Night in Perth.

Banners all along St Georges Terrace advertising the Richard Avedon People Exhibition at the Western Australian Art Gallery.

Tried taking this foto of the Marilyn banners with the flash off but because of the lights on the banners the face was just white light. Thought I would try it with the flash on not expecting it to work. Battery was nearly flat and this was the last foto I was able to take - and the only one that captured Marilyn!

Best viewed in LARGE (and I believe she was a size 14-16!!)
