Taken from a bus to Manila

Today I am off to Sydney for a year of study. From where I live it takes nearly 6 hours by bus to get to Manila and another 2 hours within the Metro to get to the airport. Then 2 hours in the terminal is topped off by 8 hours of flight. For some this is fine but for someone with motion sickness, like me, this is an ordeal.
