A very happy 10th birthday to Blipfoto. Thank you to all involved at Blip Central and beyond. I like it here, as do so many of us out in the wilds. 'Scuse the lack of balloons. I did see a couple of red ones this week... lying deflated on the grass outside the Eden Court theatre. Thought better of Blipping those!

A little sunlight shone through a gap in the clouds, and lit up some trees on the Black Isle. The low angle of the morning light has greatly exaggerated the Autumn colours, which aren't really that bright... at least, not yet. Viewed through the Kessock Bridge, from Inverness.

I'd guess there were over two thousand Pink-footed Geese by Munlochy Bay this evening. Biggest number I've seen so far this season. And there looked to be more coming in. Quite a sight, and sound.

Feeling much better today. So hopefully a good weekend ahead.
