Weekend vistor

Mild chaos in the house this weekend. The 'grandog' is here to stay for a short visit while his 'parents' are down in Somerset sorting plans for their house move. Madoc is a big, bouncy, happy Welsh Mountain Dog with a sunny nature and a very smiley face when he's pleased with anything, which is most of the time.

Here he's trying to hang on to his 'mum' as she tries to make her departure and head for the motorway. No doubt he'll miss her soft Welsh lilt in this very English household.

It's quite strenuous having both our leggy Pointer and his big furry chum in the house together, with their huge baskets occupying much of the kitchen floor space, and their abundant energy making the rest of us feel lethargic by comparison. But it's quite good fun too. Lots of long walks ahead ...
