Edinburgh Castle

Ever since this magnificent building appeared at the the top end of the Royal Mile one fateful summers morning in 1963, the inhabitants of Edinburgh have celebrated by sacrificing a Fifer each and every day.

With great pomp and circumstance an explosive artillery shell is fired from the Castle at 1pm into the Godless drunken hordes of Inverkeithing.
