medieval roundhouse

This is a recreation of a medieval roundhouse at Mellor Church Old Vicarage site.

We had a bit of magical mystery tour drive this afternoon chasing the sun out of Derbyshire into Cheshire and saw the church in the distance so headed up to see it

It was a great find, the church itself impressive and the stories of the local archeology fascinating.
