Scones

Made scones today for the first time in years.
Whenever I've made them in the past they've been inedible so wasn't really expecting much!
Well, after they'd cooled, I tried one. It was yummy!! Yeah, I think I may have finally cracked it!!
Daughter was also not expecting them to be nice, but I got a 'mummy, these are lovely. Nice and light and fluffy! Can I have another one?'
Compliments got her a big resounding 'NO, wait until tomorrow for another! Me, I couldn't, I've just finished no 2!
