happy days

Off early to take +2/3 to riding - nice place, +2/3 was doing well on what appeared to me to be a huge horse pony.

Got back to hear that the appeal for +1/3's school was successful!

Then after lunch into town to meet some friends from Abernethy at the Science Museum for a couple of hours of looking at planes, rockets, ancient computers, Klein bottles, ... Brilliant, what a great place.

The +3s haven't quite got used to public travel in London: train to Finsbury Park, tube to South Kensington. Not too difficult, no changes but of course it was pretty busy due to football matches and general weekend people traffic. Throw in a couple of hours at the museum and they were all looking absolutely shattered. Cue a film and takeaway then an early night for all.
