Standing

Bits and bobs around the cottage in the morning then into Rothesay for provsions.

Afternoon out and about on the south of the island – down for a wander to the historic hillside site and sheep-inhabited ruins of St Blane’s church before checking out the nearby Kingarth Stone Circle (probably early Bronze Age, c1500 BC). Finished off with a quick trip to Kilchattan Bay giving the girls a chance to collect shells on the narrow strip of beach that was still left (tide completely in) and me the opportunity for a wade in the water before deciding within seconds that it really was far too cold for a swim. The air temperature alone was enough to put me off, never mind the numbing-water itself!

Food and drink back at home with Iggy on the radio.

Favourite clip.
