Striding Out...

At this time of year my other half doesn't get the chance to visit my local haunt very much. So before we did anything else we headed off for Trentham.

I took him on a funghi hunt to show him where I'd spotted them recently, and then to the areas of the woodland where much work is going on to restore the grounds to how it was designed when Capability Brown was involved in the estate.

Autumn is at it's best here at the moment.

Back home, grass cut and now onto the housework!!
