Trust Hut

Placed strategically and conveniently off the cycle path to Selby is one of Yorkshire's greatest little assets - the cycle trust hut.

In this odd little shed is a kettle, tea, coffee and other goodies which you access yourself and put your money in a slot. it is near the old Fulford railway station and looked after by the family who live there.

Its brill.

Sadly last time we visited the owner said that the money tin had been raided but she was adamant that the hut should continue and I agree.

As we left this afternoon a family group cycled up and the kids were so excited to see and use the hut.

Long may it continue.

PS I understand they even have porridge over the winter.... Not a great fan of porridge but got to try that out for a future Blip!
