…who shall remain nameless

Today has been mostly sunny with very strong winds. Eve and I have been out again so she can do some scooting. She likes to go round and round the abandoned pub. It's been renovated and is a lovely building, but unfortunately no one has taken it on, yet. This photo shows where the old pub sign used to hang, and it always looks a bit sad and spooky to me to have a nameless, signless, empty pub. A bit like gallows somehow.
After lunch I couldn't persuade any family members to go for a walk with me so I headed out by myself but serendipitously bumped into Eve's best friend's mum and her lovely dog so I joined their walk and we chatted all the way.
