Crescent moon

Went for a predawn run along the length of Ponsonby Road. Early in my run my attention was caught by the crescent moon becoming visible as the low cloud in the east moved around and away. Or some of it did.

At that point, the moon was on my right and the Sky Tower was away to my left and hidden by near buildings. A left turn into Ponsonby Road, which then takes a dog leg half way along, and the two could be captured in the one frame. At the corner with Collingwood Street I was able to align the two, and I managed this shot.

Good day at work today. The boys and their mother will be here for dinner. Time to relax.
