On a rainy day

Wet and windy for most of the day so didn't do an awful lot except watch an old Sherlock Holmes film starring Basil Rathbone called, 'The Voice of Terror'.

It was made in 1942 and was a wartime propaganda film. It didn't appear unusual to me, brought up on this kind of film on the TV in the late sixties and early seventies, but my 16 year old found it very odd.

However the result of watching old films and refusing to go out in the rain and wind was no blip. Inevitably I turned to the flowers in the house.
