My God, it's full of stars!

350 miles almost due East takes us just over the German border to the Eifel national park near Aachen. We are here to meet up with friends at the RWTH rowing club for a spin on their huge reservoir and a breath of fresh air in the gloriously autumnal forest of the Eifel national park.

We arrived in time for sunset over the lake and a slap up dinner at our splendid hotel in Heimbach.
