Ex Hurricane Gonzalo hits Mull

Very wild and windy.

Around 3,30am we were awakened by the sounds of the 'ex' hurricane Gonzalo hitting the caravan. As my granddaughter, Katie, said, "if this is an 'ex', think what it would be like in a real hurricane". It was extremely noisy and the caravan shook and vibrated for hours. Not much sleep for us, so cups of tea were the order of the night.

The forecast is that it will continue for most of the day, so the likelihood is that we won't be out much - s0 this is my blip.
