Dining Hall

This is a bit of an emergency blip as we hadn't taken a photo all day. This is the dining hall where we are lucky enough to be offered free food every evening if we want it. We eat there two or three evenings a week because it is so easy.

Our apartment cooking is getting better though. We struggle to find the ingredients to make some of our favourite dishes from home so we have had to adapt them and they have come out pretty well so far. We had an incident with cous cous which turned out to be tapioca but that was OK in the end thanks to some advice from Jenny's dad. Boil it in stock and you have yourself a cross between a savoury rice pudding and mashed potato! We really should learn some Chinese cooking really.
