Sunset squid

Today we were introduced to Reef Check survey methodology and carried out 1 practice survey in Isles Bay in Montserrat.

After our practice reef survey this afternoon we took the opportunity for a sunset snorkel in Old Road Bay as the visibility has improved somewhat since Gonzalo went through. We were rewarded by this pair of irridescent Carribean Reef Squid cruising about below us.

Unfortunately still some bits in the water but very cool "creatures" nonetheless.

More practice surveys tomorrow - hard work underwater and lots of task loading!
