#Pakistan Appeal following #Flooding

Last month, flooding in Pakistan swept away homes, possessions and livelihoods. It is estimated that 450 men, women and children lost their lives. More than 700,000 people had to flee their homes.

We received an update from our team this morning;

'The poor flood-affected people are currently trying to reconstruct their houses but due to extreme poverty and massive devastation caused by the flood to their houses and possessions they are in dire need of some support. Especially there are women, children and elderly people who need our help as the extreme winter season is approaching fast which will badly affect the health of these people - children being the most vulnerable group of the affected population.'

When disaster strikes in a region in which we are already working it is impossible to stand by and do nothing. We hope you feel the same. Please help.
