Preparing for take-off...!

The gulls at Killingworth Lake were a bit more lively than usual this morning (maybe they were trying to keep warm!).

However they generally refused to perform when the camera was pointing at them, so most of my better shots were half off-frame :)

However this one was quite a poser, seen here preparing for take-off.
