Santuari de Sant Salvador d'Artà

Had a drive away from the tacky and touristy coastal resort area today to see what else was on offer... it was very windy and a bit cloudy today so the temperature had dropped.

We went to Capdepera and had a walk round the castle. Then on to Artà to climb the steps up to the fortified church. The battlements were really pointy as you can see in my picture. We had lunch there and a little cat climbed up onto my knee, curled up and dozed off... very cute!

On the way back we stopped at the prehistoric settlement of Ses Païsses which was pretty impressive too.

This evening we are going to meet up with one of N's ex-colleagues who lives over here now... blipper TonyGr.
