Going On Holiday...

Well we were actually 'going home' today after a lovely week or so on Skye. The ex hurricane yesterday meant we stayed an extra day, but that was fine.

We did go to The Isle of Skye Baking Company in Portree and as well as a coffee we enjoyed the exhibition upstairs in Skyeworks. They had invited people to create a 25 x 25 canvas and then they were exhibited with a good percentage going to Mountain Rescue.

We chose this one as we loved the way the artist has used local materials in the collage - including Harris tweed and Skye batiks.
