Basil

A visit from my favourite boy this evening. This gorgeous dog used to belong to my Daughter and her husband but when they had a baby, poor Basil got a bit jealous. He became very unhappy, so he went to live with some very dear friends of ours and settled in remarkably well.

All that happened about two years ago and although I've seen him in his new environment, he'd never been back to his old home until this evening. It was a bit of a tear jerker but he was happy to get back in the car and go again. My profile picture is one of him about the time that he left home....a very sad day.

They don't realise what a huge impact they have on us, these four legged friends!
