Shadows

It was one of those days today, I was never going to have time for a blip. It's goign to be a week filed with presentations, workshops, proposals, "real work" and getting ready for a holiday.

And then I spied these shadows on the way in the front door tonight. They are out of focus, but not; the wall is completely in focus.

Made me think, maybe being out of focus is right. A shadow isn't actually real, it's merely the reverse projection of an object blocking the light.

It's not an object, it's just the absence of light. Maybe that's why I can't focus on it, literally or metaphorically. Oh dear, I think I need a wine, watch the Matrix, and then try to figure it out. But as Morpheus says, "Your mind makes it real" ...
