Dunsop Bridge

When hubby has been to the hospital he likes to come home by a scenic route, we like to come via Dunsop Bridge and through the Trough of Bowland. We usually call for lunch at Puddle Duck Cafe Dunsop but today it was so full we couldn't get in, there were people standing outside drinking coffee, don't know why so many people were out as the weather was awful. We went further on to another village Slaidburn and called at a small restaurant, same again full of cyclists so no tables there either. We did stand up with a coffee and some cake before travelling on home through Ingleton and the lakes in the rain.
Result of todays visit, hubby is going back beginning of December for keyhole surgery.
