5000 bras

In Metso library there is an artwork that's made of 5000 donated bras to raise breast cancer awareness. There are over 15 meters of bra walls, bras are arranged in colour blocks. The artwork came from Turku and After Tampere it will travel to Oulu, Kuopio and Helsinki.

Why 5000? That's the amount how many women is diagnosed with breast cancer every year. After 5 years 89% of the patients are still alive.
