Hay Bales

One of the fields near us has had these hay bales slowly rotting for a few years now. We use them as an enticement to get down the lane and across the fields and then we jump up and leap along them - avoiding the wasp nest, fungi, slugs, spiders, some kind of poo and possible snakes from the nooks and crannies (we did see one nearby). It's fun. And of course from the top you get the best view of the trains across the field.
