It's nice to see there are still a few blooms to attract bees into the garden... In this case it's the wonderful woolly flowers of Mexican sage, which have been mistaken for buddleia from a distance although the plants only reach about 3' in height.

They can continue flowering until the first frost, which sometimes kills the plant altogether; so we always take a few cuttings to keep inside, just in case.
