How many chemists does it take to change a lightbulb? Six apparently. An instrument I was using today wasn't behaving and it took a lot of "experts" asking other "experts" to work out it needed a new bulb. Now I can tell if my reaction is working or not!

The whole incident reminded me of this very funny comparison of Scottish universities.
