What about me.........

This delightful red wattle bird (honeyeater) family was spotted in our front garden.

The two little ones were so well behaved and patient and looking after each other until mother bird returned with breakfast. I guess sharing a nest since being an egg makes them get along!

They are quite big birds when fully grown (25 cms) and are Australia's largest honeyeater.

I love the way the mother's little feet were hanging on as she leant over to feed them both.
