Dundas Street, Stromness.

Ventured to the very inner regions of Stromness this morning to go along to my mother’s to measure up for a potential new cooker. Bought my weekly newspaper allowance and got some messages from the Co-op.

CMC is pushing the boat out tonight as Kathleen and Dougal are calling for tea. So it’s a starter of stuffed mushrooms (with a light brandy and basil sauce), fish parcels with CMC’s world famous lemon drizzly sauce (tres piquant) and rounded off with a lovely pear pudding (with a hintette of sherry). Coffee (no mints) and malts / port and porter as demanded.
