Year of the Bus Sculpture Trail

This week, brightly coloured fibre glass models of London buses have been appearing in the part of London where I work. This is the first one I came upon.

It turns out they are part of a scheme to commemorate 2014 as the Year of the Bus.

This one is called "London Takes the Bus" by illustrator Rod Hunt. The design is inspired by the key bus routes on the central London map.

What a great idea.
